How To Wear Spring and Summer’s Fabulous Nail Colors!

Every girl loves a little change once in a while, including her nail polish color. Choosing which rainbow bright nail color to wear can be both fun to look at and intimidating to paint on. I am here to inform you on the hottest colors for spring and summer and how to wear them. Even the craziest colors can be stylish accents. Think of these nail polishes as a flashy and bold accessory. So shy away from the sheer nude colors and embrace the bright and fabulous nail color sensation!

Yellow
How To Wear It:
Looks best with khaki and safari colors. Try the "army girl chic" style.

Lilac
How To Wear It:
If you are wearing lilac, you have to be wearing leather. Lilac softens the “hard edge.”

Hot Pink
How To Wear It:
Looks cute with an all-black outfit. Time for you ladies to whip out those little black dresses of yours! Try to avoid getting the “too busy” look by not wearing hot pink with other bright patterns or florals.

Pearl
How To Wear It:
If your not one of the types to wear bright and flashy colors, switch up wearing sheer pink to pearl. It's a beautiful “safety zone color."

Orange
How To Wear It:
Yes I know, orange is a hard color to wear, but it’s one of the hottest trends this year. Try pairing it up with a white T and some jeans, clean and simple!

Mint Green
How To Wear It:
Pair this color with a deep chocolate brown or an edgy gray. All pastels look good with a “punk rock twist."

Bright Blue
How To Wear It:
You should wear bright blues with white. It’s fresh and summery!

Forecasting Fall 2011 Coats

Burr! I need fur! Animal print was huge last spring and animal fur is even bigger for this fall. Designers such as Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, and Carolina Herrera presented audiences with fur coats, jackets, and capes of all types and styles. The common trend seen on runways this fall consisted of over sized coats with forgiving silhouettes and not-so-forgiving ones.

Gaultier has gifted us the ability to wear fur sans the feeling we belong in a hip-hop video. The cinched waist and and high tailoring of coats for this fall remain consistent with the 40's/50's/60's era that has taken over the runways. Everyone can release their inner Mad Menand go full speed ahead with fur.

Another common trend for coats this fall was taffeta, surprisingly, and wool, not so surprisingly. Carolina Herrera, the queen of class, really focused on accentuating womanly curves. Who says you have to look like a bulky polar bear in the winter? For those of us who plan on forgoing the holiday eating, this style of coat is perfect! In fact, many of this fall's coats look like dresses themselves. You can remain sexy and classy without freezing your you-know-what off!

For a little more opulence look no further than Dior and Wu. The fashions they previewed at fashion week are bound to take off. Everything from fur, to structure, to forgiving silhouettes were incorporated into these lines. Your inner Blair Waldorf will be begging you to buy yourself a fur lined peacoat like Dior's below.

Finally, lets talk bulk! Bulk as in fabric, fabric, and more fabric. Designers like Marc Jacobs and Gaultier experimented with not accentuating womanly curves, but hiding them. You're sure to look warm in these bulky creations. And for those readers who plan on taking part in the holiday eating festivities these coats over a great alternative to looking fabulous and still hiding those inevitable extra lbs.

For affordable options make sure to keep an eye out for these styles in your local Forever 21 and Banana Republic.
